$20.00 - $23.00 Per Hour DOE / Full Time including some weekends on occasion.

Generations Healthcare is in search of an Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The primary role of the Admissions Coordinator position is to obtain required information to admit residents in an efficient, timely manner and in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as directed.

Essential Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Assist in interviewing residents/guardians/sponsors and obtaining required admission information and signatures.
  • Admin and prepare identification records for residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate record of available beds.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide residents with admission information packet (e.g., resident rights, notice of privacy practices, admissions contract, etc.). Review as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors, and the general public.
  • Be knowledgeable in the use of computers, data input/retrieval/output functions, etc.
  • This position requires the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
