Job Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesHillcrest Youth Services is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team full-time. In this dynamic role, you'll not only manage the admissions process but also oversee our court deferral program, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and procedures. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a team of committed professionals.
Starting Pay: $19 per hour

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Screen all admissions/referrals for appropriateness of Hillcrest's programming.
- Schedule and complete intakes for juveniles referred to each program.
- Collect accurate information concerning the attendance and performance of juvenile participants.
- Maintain close collaboration with referral sources.
- Maintain tracking of Emergency Shelter length of stay.
- Maintain waiver requests.
- Lead daily educational groups to referred clients
- Provide consultation/education services as needed to other Hillcrest staff and outside professional groups and community members.

QualificationsWHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related Human Services field is required.
- Work schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Occasional work may need to be performed outside these hours.
- Previous work with juveniles highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must have valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, reliable vehicle, and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
