Summary

Henry Ford College presents an opportunity for an Admissions Associate II.

Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Recruiting, the Admissions Associate II will serve as a front-line individual responsible for the review, validation, and entry of student data related to the Admissions process. This position is crucial for initial engagement and service to prospective students applying for admission to the College. This role will focus on Admissions processing, timely and accurate communications, data integrity, fraud identification and prevention, and other responsibilities requiring the use of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and SIS (Student Information System) technologies, as well as other office software and tools. Works both independently and as a team member.

Hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 p.m.

  • An associate degree from a regionally accredited institution, or equivalent level of education and experience, is required.
  • Qualified applicants must possess a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to act independently and complete job-related tasks without direct supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a professional office environment and work effectively and collaboratively in teams.
  • One year of customer service or student service experience.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and associated software, such as document imaging software, CRM/SIS, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Capability, willingness, and capacity to learn the efficient and effective use of multiple information systems and procedures used in the admissions process.
  • One year as part of a team environment that includes basic administrative support.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will perform all functions essential to ensuring data integrity and timely communications for prospective students, including the following responsibilities:

  1. Data Processing: Perform imaging, imports, and application/document processing relating to the Admissions process and CRM/SIS.
  2. Data Integrity and Error Resolution: Perform duplicate detection and resolution of prospects and applicants in our CRM and SIS. Evaluate applications for potential fraud and process accordingly.
  3. Communication Processing: Process Admissions communications to and from prospects and applicants.
  4. Efficient Problem-Solving: Efficiently respond to departmental inquiries and related problem-solving duties.
  5. Front-Line Service: Actively participate in team and student-facing communications and processing for Admissions and Recruiting team.
  6. Administrative Support: General administrative duties to support Admissions processing and the Admissions and Recruiting team.
  7. Other duties as assigned and qualified or trained to perform.
