As an Admission Specialist, you will coordinate admissions and referral processes, support census management,maintainaccuraterecords, facilitate client screenings, and collaborate with clinical and billing teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate admissions and intake processes for new clients, ensuring a welcoming and supportive experience.

Facilitateclient screenings by phone and in-person to assess eligibility and service needs.

• Respond to referrals promptly and accurately document information in designated systems.

Maintainprogram census and waiting listsin accordance withapplicable service standards and requirements.

• Build andmaintainpositive working relationships with referral sources, clients, and team members.

• Complete admission documentation including releases of information, residency verification, financial information, and other required records.

• Collaborate with Care Managers to obtain and verify insurance information.

• Enter andmaintainaccurateclient data within required databases and timelines.

• Coordinate with billing personnel to ensure admissions, transfers, and discharges are processed accurately andtimely

• Provide administrative support to clinical staff through preparation of letters, forms, and related documentation.

Assistwith chart reviews, filing, record organization, and maintenance of client files.

• Correct documentation deficiencies within establishedtimeframes

• Supportadditionaldepartmental and organizationalinitiatives asassigned by leadership.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Additional Qualifications:

• Current valid driver's license in state of residence with an acceptable driving record.

• Current automobile insurance as required by law.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability toestablishrapport and create a welcoming atmosphere.

• Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Basic computerproficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Knowledge of confidentiality requirements related to behavioral health and substance use treatment services.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Successful completion of background screenings, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks.

• Must obtain First Aid certification within three (3) months of employment andmaintaincertification thereafter.

• Must obtain CPR certification within three (3) months of employment andmaintaincertification thereafter.

• Must complete required Behavioral Management training within thirty (30) days of employment or at the first available class following hire.

Physical Requirements

• Perform sedentary work involving exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and negligible forcefrequentlyto move or handle objects.

• Sit for extended periods throughout the workday.

• Occasionally stand and walk as needed to perform job duties.

• Perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing, data entry, and written documentation.

Maintainthe physical ability tooperatestandard office equipment and computer systems.
