
Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admission, the admission counselor will assist in the recruitment of first-year and transfer students. This will include managing and maintaining a recruitment territory, developing relationships with high school counselors and prospective students. This person will be responsible for reviewing applications and will also be expected to coordinate prospective and admitted student yield programming.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred or equivalent related experience.
• 1-2 years of progressive admission experience or comparable experience in education; experience in planning and implementing a comprehensive recruitment program; experience at a small, private, selective university, either professionally or as a student, is highly desirable; valid driver’s license required. Knowledge of Slate CRM preferred. Public speaking ability, flexibility, and ability to both work independently and collaboratively critical to position.
• Ability to work frequent evenings and weekends during peak travel and reading periods.
