Adminstrative (Manufacturing) Coordinator

The Administrative (Manufacturing) Coordinator role serves as a critical cross-functional resource within the packaging facility, providing administrative support to multiple departments to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Support daily production activities to ensure schedules, output, and efficiency targets are met
  • Collaborate with Production Control to align staffing, materials, and production plans
  • Assist Operations in troubleshooting issues impacting productivity and flow

Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen events, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes
  • Support implementation of standardized work practices across the facility

Human Resources Support

  • Assist with staffing coordination, onboarding, and training support
  • Partner with HR on employee relations, attendance tracking, and workforce planning
  • Support employee engagement and communication initiatives

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma, Secondary Education a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production support, or operations environment

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
