Key Position Functions

• Assist Production and Operations in processing and maintaining the production order system and all office related functions.
• Creation and maintenance of manufacturing production orders and files.
• Maintenance of manufacturing employee training files.
• Investigate and correct production heat sheet discrepancies.
• Replenish and maintain inventory of office supplies and consumables.
• Support the Production team’s 5S by being a part of the audit team.
• Verify and review production heat sheets ensuring that all heat numbers listed matched the parts used.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP would be an asset.
• Closing of production orders including matching with office folder and amalgamation of critical documents.
• Processing, maintenance, receiving and completion of farm-out purchase orders.
• Assist in the preparation of customer related document packages.
• Material issue on production orders as required.
• Verify and maintain daily production order bookings.
• Contact outside vendors for the maintenance of office equipment.
• Assist with other manufacturing and operations clerical functions.

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

• Three to five years of experience in an administor role.
• Experience in a manufacturing or oil and gas environment preferred.
• Education: Related post secondary education is an asset.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency are a must.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge. Strong Excel skills.
