We are seeking an accomplished and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead one of our skilled nursing communities in Ohio. Provide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the skilled nursing facility.
Create a positive, resident-centered culture built on compassion, accountability, and teamwork.
Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations and organizational policies.
Partner with nursing, therapy, dietary, social services, and other departments to deliver exceptional resident care.
Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing department leaders and frontline employees.
Strengthen employee engagement through visible leadership, clear communication, and meaningful recognition.
Oversee financial performance, budgeting, labor management, reimbursement, and expense controls.
Develop census growth and admissions strategies while strengthening community and referral relationships.
Maintain continuous survey readiness and lead effective plans of correction and quality-improvement initiatives.
Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, healthcare partners, and community leaders.
Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership on strategic priorities and operational initiatives.
Comprehensive knowledge of skilled nursing operations, resident rights, and CMS and state regulations.
A demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, and hold multidisciplinary teams accountable.
Strong financial and operational judgment, including experience with budgets, labor, census, and reimbursement.
Proven success managing regulatory surveys, quality outcomes, and corrective action plans.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
The composure and judgment necessary to lead through complex or urgent situations.
A leadership style grounded in integrity, visibility, compassion, and accountability.
Current and active Michigan Nursing Home Administrator license
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
Three to five years of progressive leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
Experience leading a large or complex skilled nursing operation.
Demonstrated success improving survey outcomes, census, employee retention, resident satisfaction, or financial performance.
This position requires frequent interaction with residents, families, employees, and community partners throughout the facility. Because we serve residents around the clock, flexibility may occasionally be required for evenings, weekends, emergencies, meetings, training, and organizational initiatives.
