The Opportunity

We are looking for an accomplished Transfer Agency Administrator to join our Transfer Agency team as part of our financial services business in Dubai.

Established in 2008, our Dubai office is the Maples Group’s regional operating hub in the Middle East. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Trade Processing and Account Data maintenance, ensuring all records are processed timely and accurately on our TA platforms;
  • Preparation and reconciliation of capital call notifications, investor statements, distributions and other communications to investors as required. Distributing the emails/faxes and couriers to investors as appropriate once they have been reviewed and approved;
  • Review of investor trade documentation (Subscriptions, Redemption, Transfer documents) and gathering all the relevant supporting documentation including FATCA/KYC;
  • Updating and maintaining MaplesFS databases for new funds and for changes in information for existing funds;
  • Responsible for general administrative tasks and liaising with other departments as required;
  • Accurately tracking and monitoring all Investor related queries and requests on behalf of our clients;
  • Being the first point of contact for our clients and their Investor Service needs.

What You Bring

In addition to a commitment to delivering superior candidate and stakeholder experiences:

  • A strong academic background, together with a minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience in registrar and transfer agency / investor services;
  • Good understanding of hedge, mutual and private equity funds;
  • Direct experience of industry recognized share registrar and transfer agency software systems;
  • Experience with processing subscriptions, redemptions, share transfers and Shareholder payments;
  • A sound knowledge of Microsoft applications, excellent time management, organizational and prioritisation skills are also essential, while both verbal and written English is essential.
  • Thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment;
  • Adaptability;
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently.
