Description:

Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Middle Office Team.

Job specification

  • Managing the workflow from Fund Managers and Prime Brokers,
  • Production of soft portfolio NAVs,
  • Daily Profit & Loss reporting,
  • Mandate compliance reporting and loading of corporate actions
  • Daily recons of discrepancies between Middle Office and Prime Brokers reporting,
  • Accurate and timely booking of trades into Middle Office system,
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects and assignments aimed towards improving the process efficiencies

  • Process-driven with a high level of attention to detail,
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Motivated and driven with a proactive approach to work.

Academic Requirements & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Qualification in Accounting, Finance or Investment.
  • Quantitative degree with accounting major,
  • Knowledge of NAV calculation and reconciliation processes beneficial
  • Comfortable with working with big excel data sets (experience with macros and automation beneficial)
