Administrator in Training (AIT)

Location: Avis, PA (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $23 – $25 per hour

We are a leading provider in the long-term care industry, committed to improving the lives of the patients and communities we serve through high-quality care and exceptional service. We are seeking an Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our leadership development program and gain hands-on experience in nursing center operations.

This role is designed for individuals who are interested in developing into future healthcare administrators and gaining exposure to all aspects of long-term care facility leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional and multi-site task groups with organizational impact
  • Support and execute special projects that improve nursing center operations
  • Observe and contribute to leadership functions including family conferences, team meetings, and clinical care discussions
  • Participate in financial and labor management meetings to gain operational insight
  • Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding processes
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to center leadership based on observations and data
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the nursing center
  • Gain exposure to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and operational workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong interest in healthcare administration or long-term care leadership
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn and take on a variety of operational responsibilities
  • Ability to analyze processes and provide constructive feedback
