As an Administrator in Training, your role goes beyond learning the day-to-day operations of senior living—you’ll help create an environment where residents thrive and team members feel supported. Through hands-on experience across departments, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of operations, regulatory compliance, financial management, resident services, and team leadership. Your developing expertise will help strengthen community operations, enhance the resident experience, and prepare you to lead with compassion and purpose.

In This Role You Will
1. Participates in all aspects of BHI’s 12 month, structured Administrator in Training Program.
2.Understands and help to maintain nursing and/or assisted living department compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
3.Assists with monitoring, observing, and evaluating the care and services delivered by each department and the entire community.
4. Assists with planning, developing, and implementing all written policies/procedures relevant to the operations of the nursing and/or assisted living departments.
5. Assists with the annual inspection process and the preparation of a plan of correction on required form for deficiencies reported during state or other inspections.
6. Assists with meeting the financial objectives of the nursing and/or assisted living departments in accordance with the budget as approved by the BHI Board of Directors.
-Review the financial and business management of the nursing and assisted living departments which includes all accounting, inventory control, purchasing, and the stewardship of all community property and equipment.
-Assists with developing annual operating and capital budgets for the nursing and assisted living departments and the implementation of any approved items.
7. Learns and provides support for community risk management and compliance programs.
8. Participates in the preparation and execution of community marketing plans and demonstrates support for company-sponsored events and relationships.
9. Regularly communicates with the Administrator or Executive Director regarding significant aspects of community operations.
