Parsons is seeking experienced Office Administrator to join our team in Georgia and help improve roadway safety, incident response, and traffic operations across the region.

In this role, you will provide Administrative Support to the Highway Emergency Response Operators (HERO) Safety Service Patrol servicing the metro Atlanta area.

You will support field-based traffic incident management activities, coordinate with emergency responders and transportation partners, and help restore traffic flow safely and efficiently during incidents, special events, and work zones. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in emergency response, traffic operations, or public safety who wants to make a direct impact in the field.

This role will be located at a HERO facility in metro Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with all field responder agencies, DOT officials, and other industry stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Traffic Management Center staff, law enforcement, fire/EMS, towing and recovery, and other partners
  • Manage HERO training records and update SOG/SOP as requested
  • Perform administrative tasks supporting HERO operations
  • Monitor and schedule in-service and/or refresher training for HEROs
  • Perform additional administrative tasks to support HERO operations
  • Assist and provide support services for the Statewide Traffic Incident Management Enhancement initiatives, to include daily operations, planning of events, and industry speakers

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of related work experience in an administrative capacity, including at least 1+ years of experience in similar field
  • Experience in emergency response, public safety, safety service patrol, or wrecker fleet operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing and delivering training
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and presentation tools such as PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Safety Service Patrol administrative support experience
  • Experience with tracking and managing training sessions and records
  • Experience with Traffic Management Centers or Regional Operations Centers
  • Experience with SOP/SOG development and review
  • Familiarity with ITS, ATMS/ATIS, CAD integration, AVL, and incident management tools
  • Project management training or certification program
