Job Description

• Responsible for ensuring that all Gate ITT and Breakbulk movement data and reports are accurate and updated on a shift, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Responsible for serving as the section's centralized statistician, preparing and providing ad-hoc data, and compiling reports and analyses as required by management.
• Updated weekly & monthly Dashboard for Gate ITT & Breakbulk KPI.
• Monitor and supervise progress on every movement reports in Gate ITT & Breakbulk section with Supervisor/ Senior Clerk ensuring they meet the deadline.
• Communicate/ liaise to other section/ department to check and do data validation accurately on existing/ ad hoc report if required.
• Keep track of the files movement, ensuring that files are kept and safely released to authorize parties.
• Responsible for analyzing Gate and ITT volume movement trends and monitoring operational performance trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification, or have relevant working experience in a related field.
• Knowledge in port, shipping and cargo related industry is an added advantage.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to communicate - spoken and written Malay and English languages.
• Good computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint.
