The Commercial Mortgages Sector: A Unique Asset Class Are you interested in joining a team of experts dedicated solely to commercial mortgages, creating long-term value through diversified mortgage portfolios? Addenda Capital is the ideal place to build relationships with key market players and collaborate with colleagues from other sectors. As a member of the Commercial Mortgages Administration team, your main responsibility will be to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our loan management system. To ensure smooth business operations, you will perform various daily control, monitoring, and reporting functions. Your responsibilities

  • Ensure the mortgage commitments are set up and maintained in the Loan Management System in accordance with established processes and guidelines;
  • Manage and reconcile daily mortgage transactions (mortgage advances, payment collections and remittances);
  • Assist the Mortgage Analysts with legal document follow-up and code the registrations in the Loan Management System;
  • Analyze and maintain information including Property Taxes, Insurance Policies and transaction history;
  • Support staff with administrative tasks
  • Maintain office facilities and assist with daily office functions
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and manage equipment
  • Work efficiently with key internal and external stakeholders (Servicing Agents, Municipal Tax Authorities, Insurance Agents, Solicitors and Borrowers);
  • Become proficient with internal systems and software to help enable and promote operational efficiencies.

What you bring

  • You have post-secondary education in Business or a related field;
  • An equivalent of combined education and work experience will be considered;
  • You have previous mortgage or real estate paralegal experience (asset)
  • You have an interest in commercial mortgages and the real estate industry;
  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel expertise;
