• Implementation of effective procedures and processes in the planning and administration department to ensure efficiency.
• Collect and report all related CSI to Reman and components rebuilds are documented and reported to ensure traceability of what has been implemented per component.
• Ensure that all tooling that requires calibration is sent out and received back at the facility with the correct documentation in a timely manner.
• Plan forecasted and confirmed requirements of stock required for components to be remanufactured and oversees the development of the corresponding production plan.
• Conducts weekly meetings between planning and production department to review and address all technical, operational, and planning issues. And report them to the Reman Manager.
• Coordinates and provides weekly and month regular reporting on the performance of the remanufacturing facility:
• Actual vs budgeted manufacturing results
• Productive vs non-productive labour hours.
• Inventory shortages and their causes
• work in progress levels
• component volumes through the facility
• lifetime vs new variance
• MIN KPI vs Actual performance.
• Develop, manage, and prioritise strategic efficiency in automation of the Planning department.
• Oversee archiving completed quality documentation to ensure traceability and accountability for finished piece parts and components.
• Administration of planning related master data in the ERP system i.e. item planning parameters, bills of material, routings, work centers, sub-contractors, etc. for components and piece parts processed internally and/or externally by sub-contractors.
• Ensure all activities are conducted within Company and Legislative workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Monitor performance KPI’s of suppliers and subcontractors according to agreed terms.
• entation of a robust Quality Management System for ERP(QMS)
• Actively participates in the development of process, procedure and documentation (ERP)
• Ensures compliance to procedures and processes and polices to the ERP system and relevant documentation
• Assist with Liebherr Reman Certification Assessment program with all the planning and administrative areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

University Degree in production management or operations management with 5 Year post Qualification experience.
Prior experience in remanufacturing facility is essential.
