Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Together, we’ve created one of the largest mental health and social support charities in England.
Every year, we support around 125,000 people through nearly 200 services – and it’s all made possible by our 3,500 brilliant staff and volunteers.
Are you passionate about helping others live safer, healthier, more independent lives? Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.
This is an administrative support role within Waythrough, helping to ensure the service runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be a key point of contact for clients, visitors and partner organisations, providing a welcoming and professional first impression while supporting the team with the day-to-day running of the service.
You will manage telephone calls, emails, referrals and appointments, ensuring enquiries are responded to promptly and people are directed to the right support. You will maintain accurate records, update databases, assist with data collection and reporting, and support the service in meeting its quality and performance standards.
You will also help organise meetings, room bookings, events and outreach activities, maintain office supplies and equipment, support petty cash administration, and provide general administrative cover to colleagues when needed.
We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable and reliable, with strong communication and administrative skills. You should have good attention to detail, be confident using IT systems and databases, and be able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate records.
You will need to be comfortable working with people from different backgrounds, handling enquiries sensitively and professionally, and working collaboratively with colleagues and partner organisations. A commitment to Waythrough's values of being kind, courageous and respectful is also essential.
