We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our Canterbury team. You’ll help keep the region running smoothly by supporting purchase orders, invoices, monthly reporting and billing, while backing operational teams with accurate, timely admin support.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

This is a busy, hands-on administration role where you’ll support multiple departments across the Canterbury region with the accurate processing and maintenance of financial data and records. You’ll work closely with operational teams and fellow administrators, helping meet key monthly deadlines and keeping day-to-day admin running smoothly. It’s a role for someone who likes variety, takes pride in getting the detail right, and wants to deliver good work.

Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, effective and timely administrative support across the Canterbury region.
  • Support the use of purchase orders across the business and help maintain accurate records.
  • Receive and process supplier and subcontractor invoices for the Canterbury region.
  • Produce monthly reports on purchase order status and reconciliations.
  • Support the monthly billing cycle and other finance-related administration tasks.
  • Work alongside the administration team to follow established processes, provide backup support and assist with reception when needed.

  • Experience in administration, accounts support or financial data entry.
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to follow processes, meet deadlines and stay organised when priorities shift.
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach and the confidence to build strong working relationships.
  • A proactive mindset, with a willingness to ask questions, share ideas and keep learning.
  • A strong commitment to safety, wellbeing and doing the right thing.
