Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology / Institute of Experimental Medicine

The research groups of Prof. Mathilde Poyet (Institute of Experimental Medicine) and Prof. Mathieu Groussin (Institute of Clinical Molecular Biology) are jointly seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative/Scientific Coordinator.

This position supports two closely collaborating research laboratories and involves the coordination of research projects as well as the management of day-to-day laboratory administration. The coordinator will work at the interface of both labs to ensure smooth communication, efficient project management, and compliance with institutional requirements ( https://mmmicrobiomelab.org/).

Start in our team

We are looking for professional and competent support to start as soon as possible, limited for 18 months. An extension is intended.

What we offer:

  • The salary will be based on the German E13 TV-L scale, if terms and conditions under collective bargaining law are fulfilled
  • Part-time employment currently 19,25 hours/week

Your role:

  • You will handle communication with various project funding bodies (including the EU, DFG), with national and international project partners (large research institutions, universities, university hospitals), as well as with international committees and contractual partners
  • You will perform administrative tasks for the group leadership
  • You will be responsible for the scientific coordination of internal project matters
  • Organization of meetings and conferences

Your Profile:

  • You hold a completed university degree and Ph.D. in economics/business, life sciences, agricultural sciences, nutrition sciences, or natural sciences, or have equivalent professional experience in project management and office administration
  • Ideally, you have experience in research administration
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential
  • Your working style is characterized by strong organizational and communication skills
  • You are proficient in MS Office as well as email and internet applications
