
The Operations/Base Manager I is responsible for coordinating the operational functions of all departments in a designated geographic location, with special emphasis on the operations, towards effective and efficient performance of the TRS, Machineshop and F&D Department

Education: Some form of management training or formal educational experience is preferred. Professional Experience: Skills � Technical: 10+ progressive experience in drilling operations is preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred. Skills � Communication: Bi-lingual is preferred (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese). Verbal communication skills necessary. Skills � People: Ability to interact with individuals in a cross-cultural environment. Leadership and employee development skills. Team oriented. Licenses, Certifications, Credentials, and Other Requirements: Offshore survival and medical certificates as mandated by government regulations are required. Certified in all required safety training programs, including but not limited to underwater safety, firefighting, and helicopter underwater escape. Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
