Job Description

PURPOSE & IMPACT

Nabors is seeking a Graphic Designer to create high-quality visual communications that engage employees, support internal initiatives, and strengthen the Nabors brand across the organization. This role primarily develops internal communications, executive and leadership materials, employee engagement campaigns, corporate event assets, presentations, digital signage, and other branded communications.

This position works closely with Communications, HR, leadership, and business stakeholders to translate ideas and information into clear, engaging visual solutions. The role is expected to operate with growing independence, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment, and provide reliable creative support to the marketing-focused graphic designer and business teams when customer-facing or external needs arise.

Internal Communications & Creative Execution

  • Design compelling visual communications for internal campaigns, leadership messaging, employee programs, corporate initiatives, and company-wide communications.
  • Create graphics and materials for town halls, employee events, meetings, executive communications, engagement activities, recognition programs, and internal campaigns.
  • Develop presentations, digital signage, email graphics, infographics, posters, banners, templates, and other branded communication materials.
  • Apply layout, typography, color, imagery, and visual hierarchy to improve clarity, engagement, and audience understanding.
  • Deliver polished design work that is appropriate for internal audiences while maintaining the quality and professionalism expected of the Nabors brand.

Brand Standards & Visual Consistency

  • Ensure all creative work aligns with Nabors brand standards, visual identity requirements, and approved messaging direction.
  • Maintain consistent application of brand elements across employee communications, leadership materials, events, presentations, and business-unit deliverables.
  • Partner with the Brand & Graphics Manager to maintain templates, design systems, and reusable creative assets.
  • Review materials for visual accuracy, alignment, formatting, image quality, and brand consistency before distribution.
  • Recommend practical design improvements that strengthen professionalism, consistency, and communication effectiveness both within Nabors Communications, as well as cross-functionally.

Digital & Multimedia Communications

  • Develop digital graphics for email communications, intranet updates, digital signage, presentations, internal campaigns, and other employee-facing channels.
  • Create platform-appropriate assets that support employee engagement, recruiting, leadership communications, corporate initiatives, and internal awareness campaigns.
  • Assist with slide visuals, iconography, image editing, basic video graphics, and motion graphics as needed.
  • Adapt designs for multiple formats, screen sizes, audiences, and communication channels while preserving visual consistency.
  • Maintain design quality while meeting fast-moving communication timelines and shifting business priorities.

Presentation, Event & Campaign Design

  • Design executive and leadership presentations, employee-facing presentations, corporate meeting materials, and business updates that are visually strong, clear, and easy to follow.
  • Develop visual concepts, templates, signage, banners, handouts, environmental graphics, and other supporting assets for internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, company events, town halls, conferences, and meetings.
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready files for print, digital distribution, presentations, and on-site use, coordinating specifications with print vendors, promotional suppliers, and outside creative partners as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management

  • Work directly with Communications, HR, leadership, business-unit stakeholders, and other internal partners to understand design needs and project objectives.
  • Manage multiple concurrent design requests while balancing deadlines, revisions, stakeholder feedback, and changing priorities, and proactively communicate project status, risks, and timeline constraints in a professional, solutions-oriented manner.
  • Ask effective questions to clarify scope, audience, message, timeline, and intended use of each deliverable.
  • Provide design recommendations that improve clarity, brand alignment, employee engagement, and overall communication impact.

Creative Asset & File Management

  • Maintain organized working files, final files, templates, source images, icons, and creative assets.
  • Follow file naming, storage, version control, and handoff practices that support efficient team workflows.

  • Protect confidential, proprietary, and pre-release business information when handling internal and corporate communications.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT

  • Provide design support for external marketing, recruiting, business-development, product, and customer-facing materials when workload or business needs require additional creative capacity.
  • Partner with the marketing-focused graphic designer on brochures, product sheets, trade-show graphics, social assets, customer presentations, and other external deliverables as assigned.
  • Assist with photography coordination, image sourcing, photo retouching, basic video editing, and motion graphics projects.
  • Support special projects, template improvements, and process improvement initiatives assigned by the Brand & Graphics Manager or Communications leadership.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience in a corporate, agency, or in-house environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a proficient understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, brand application, and design across multiple touchpoints.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Strong experience designing for communications, corporate events and functions, presentations and executive communications, print media, and digital media.
  • Strong attention to detail, layout discipline, file organization, and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently, anticipate needs, receive feedback, and proactively drive projects forward.
  • Highly flexible, collaborative, and solutions-oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting energy, oilfield services, manufacturing, industrial technology, software, or other technical B2B environments.
  • Experience in corporate or internal communications and employee engagement.
  • Experience designing event branding and environmental assets such as signage, booths, banners, and promotional materials.
  • Experience building polished PowerPoint presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Figma, Canva, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar creative tools; basic photography, photo editing, video editing, or motion graphics experience is a plus.
  • Experience working within established brand governance, approval workflows, corporate design systems, and project-management platforms such as Monday.com.
