About This Role:

In this Administration Technician role, you will be challenged to master front desk operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties will include learning the various data bases, data entry, scheduling clients; answering the multi-line phone system; maintaining color code lists, composing serious incident reports, ordering supplies/business cards, etc., payroll backup, and providing backup administrative support to the managers, deputy director and agency director.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D.

Preferences:

  • Experience working in an administrative support role as a receptionist in a front office environment.
  • The successful candidate will have experience with the Prince William County and/or Virginia criminal justice systems.
  • Virginia Criminal Information Network (VCIN) or National Criminal Information Center (NCIC) certified.

Special Requirements:

Background Checks, which may include but are not limited to: Criminal History Check, Credit History Check, Education Verification Check, License Verification Check, and/or Fingerprinting may be required.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday typically between 8am and 5pm with one evening staying until 6pm.

Starting Salary Range: $20.62-$31.38 hourly
