Job Description

In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Vino Volo team while assisting with cash handling and bookkeeping operations. You’ll help ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established procedures, all while delivering excellent customer service to both internal teams and external partners. Whether supporting a leading national brand or a local favorite, you play a key role in creating a first-class experience for every traveler.

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule, allowing for variability in both hours and days worked.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a professional company image by adhering to all grooming and uniform guidelines, including
slip resistant shoes.
• Demonstrate abilities in cash handling, investigation and problem solving.
• Count and reconcile daily cash deposits, safe and petty cash funds.
• Balance and replenish registers and safes and perform other cash functions daily.
• Create, verify, and oversee fulfilment of change orders with bank and stores as per needs of the business.
• Audit daily media for accuracy and track discrepancies, notifying Management or Loss Prevention in a timely
manner.
• Train, coach and provide support to other Associates on proper cash handling procedures.
• Able to work with a team in a fast paced, service-oriented Food and Beverage setting.

• Be able to resolve customer service issues and escalate as required within a 24-hour period.
• Efficiently and accurately complete required process controls (paperwork, etc.).
• Perform weekly cash audits and bag checks in assigned stores.
• Maintain workspace appearance with respect to housekeeping and maintenance standards (where applicable).
• May assume key holder responsibilities to open/close store, where required.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Properly store receipts on a weekly basis and liaise for offsite storage.
• Assist in mailing packages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:


• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-year of Food and Beverage or Retail bookkeeping and/or sales audit experience preferred.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
• Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods and able to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with
customers and peers.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment, including holidays and weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills and an effective communication.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Able to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
• Proficiency required in reading, writing, mathematics, and cash reporting.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing on a
ladder, and walking long distances.
• Standing for long periods of time and the ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures.

  • Must be available to work one Tuesday per month.
