Procon now seeks an Administrative Support specialist to join our dynamic team. This position develops and manages all phases of the procurement process, including procurement scheduling, solicitation, pre-bid activities, evaluations, negotiations, contract awards, and contract execution, in coordination with client procurement and legal stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in administrative support or transportation coordination roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage schedules, coordinate appointments, and communicate effectively with drivers and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and manage transportation schedules, ensuring timely operations.
  • Assist in the allocation and dispatching of vehicles and drivers according to needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation activities.
  • Communicate with drivers, clients, and internal departments to facilitate efficient transportation services.
  • Support compliance with safety and operational policies.
  • Prepare and submit reports regarding transportation operations and issues.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Help organize and maintain transportation-related supplies and equipment.
