Eliot is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) division. You will be working with our Healthy Families program, a pregnancy and parenting education initiative designed to help young, first-time parents(up to 23 years old) to create a stable, nurturing environment for their child.

The ideal candidate will be both independent and a team player having strong communication skills and an awareness and sensitivity to the needs of families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and receptionist support; coordinating groups and events faxing, photocopying, mail, scanning, filing, phone
  • Maintain active participant paper files, open new cases and discharge closed files
  • Maintain an accurate and updated client database and electronic medical records.
  • Managing referrals(calls and emails) and contacting referral sources and referred families

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with demonstrated administrative and reception experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records, computer literacy
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching and lifting to carry out job responsibilities.
  • Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to and from work and for providing services in the community.
  • Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish may be eligible for a 6% salary increase

Schedule: 32 hours flexible, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Hourly Rate $19.25$19.25 USD
