Daystar Power Group is a Pan-African provider of solar and hybrid power solutions, offering its systems on a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), fixed monthly fee lease or buy-out basis. All our solutions are accompanied by comprehensive maintenance services, to ensure the solutions run 365 days a year. We are currently operational in Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Senegal & Ivory Coast.
We are looking to engage a competent and experienced Administrative Support Officer, Legal & Corporate Affairs to provide administrative, coordination and operational support to the Legal, Compliance, Corporate Affairs and Human Resources functions. Resources functions. The role is suited to a highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail, strong confidentiality standards and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment from the Lagos - Nigeria office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Legal, Compliance & Corporate Affairs Support:
- Assist with administrative aspects of legal, compliance and corporate affairs activities, including document preparation, filing and record management.
- Maintain organised physical and electronic filing systems for contracts, corporate records, regulatory filings and other departmental documentation.
- Track legal and compliance tasks, deadlines, contract renewals, filings and deliverables.
- Support contract administration processes, including document circulation, execution tracking and record maintenance.
- Assist with legal research, data gathering and preparation of routine reports, presentations and correspondence as assigned.
- Coordinate engagements with external counsel, consultants and service providers, including processing and tracking invoices and supporting documentation.
- Support ethics, compliance and corporate governance initiatives, including training logistics, record keeping and reporting activities.
- Schedule and coordinate departmental meetings and maintain records of key action items where required.
- Assist with preparing presentations, reports and other materials required by the CLAO.
- Any other assigned duties.
Human Resource Administrative Support :- Provide administrative support in relation to HR processes and initiatives as directed by the CLAO.
- Maintain HR-related records, trackers and documentation in accordance with applicable confidentiality requirements.
- Coordinate logistics relating to onboarding, offboarding, training programmes and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist with preparation, filing and distribution of HR documentation as directed.
- Schedule interviews, employee meetings, training sessions and other HR-related activities.
- Support the preparation of HR reports, presentations and departmental updates.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company information.
Administrative & Coordination Support:- Manage departmental calendars, meeting schedules and logistical arrangements.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, meeting venues and event logistics as required.
- Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the CLAO as directed.
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, presentations and supporting documentation.
- Track departmental action items, deliverables and follow-up activities.
- Maintain departmental databases, contact lists and records.
- Coordinate procurement requests, vendor engagements and invoice processing for the department.
- Assist with scanning, filing, document archiving and general office administration.
- Provide administrative support required for the efficient operation of the Legal, Compliance, Corporate Affairs and Human Resources functions.
- Perform any other reasonable administrative or coordination duties assigned by the Chief Legal and Coporate Officer (CLAO) from time to time.
Requirements
- Education Minimum of HND in Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Administrative Support roles.
- Language Proficiency English.
