By joining our Division of Driver's Licensing as an Administrative Supervisor in Fayette County, you'll have
the opportunity to provide high-level professional administrative supervision over a team of employees within
a regional office.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and training to staff
  • Approve employee's time and perform evaluations
  • Ensure the daily tasks of internal and external customers are completed
  • Provide Reporting of office tasks to upper leadership
  • Work directly with customers face to face.

Ideal candidate will have experience in:
  • Leadership abilities working as an individual and as a team
  • Customer Service professional with phone and walk-in services
  • Basic accounting skills in collecting and processing money
  • Program management and creating reports of office procedures

Additional position information: (travel required, standing, stooping, bending, lifting, and sitting at a desk, etc.)
The position is sitting at a desk and could have minimal lifting and travel with overnight stays.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Four years of professional administrative experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:
A master's degree in public or business administration or a related field will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:
Additional administrative, business or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions

Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
