The Front Desk Assistant greets and assists customers at the front desk and answers calls for the Registrar’s Office under limited supervision. Performs daily data entry functions, performs general administrative duties, assists with archival organization, imaging duties, and Registrar projects as needed.
Serves as front desk receptionist for the Registrar’s Office. Receives and responds to inquiries (in-person and phone calls) in a timely and effective manner. Provides accurate information regarding Registrar’s Office services. Assists students at the Kiosk stations, and assists students with graduation applications.
Performs data entry for all Registrar’s office functions including registration, schedule changes, student information changes, enrollment verifications, and transfer equivalency forms. Maintains the bad address process. Files documents on a daily basis, logging in incoming documents and working with early college grade reporting. Serves as backup for all office scanning. Assists with monitoring the Registrar’s website and departmental pages.
Maintains the Archives Log, and works with the Assistant Registrar to ensure the Archives information is updated and maintained. Assists with identifying boxes for destruction and ensures that the Archives log accurately reflects the contents of each shelf.
Monitors work assigned to work study students. Orders and monitors office supplies.
Assists with registration, graduation or other college activities as needed.
A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
Associate degree and 3 years of relevant experience working with students. Knowledge of Colleague and imaging systems.
Evening/weekend hours and travel to other campuses may occasionally be required for scheduled events.
