Administrative Specialist – PM Shift

Location: Findlay, OH

Starting Pay: $20.50 per hour

About the Role

Bluegrass Supply Chain is hiring an Administrative Specialist to help coordinate the daily movement of inbound and outbound shipments at our Findlay facility.

This is a fast-paced logistics role where you will work closely with drivers, suppliers, customers, carriers, and our warehouse operations team to help make sure shipments arrive and depart on time.

You will monitor shipment activity, check drivers in and out, update shipment information in our systems, communicate delays or changes, and help keep the operation organized throughout the shift.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment arrivals and departures
• Monitor scheduled shipments throughout the shift
• Check drivers in and out of the facility
• Provide drivers with dock assignments and facility instructions
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, carriers, drivers, and warehouse team members
• Update arrival, departure, and shipment information in company systems
• Process shipping and receiving paperwork
• Monitor late, early, or delayed shipments and communicate changes
• Help resolve shipment scheduling or documentation issues
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Support warehouse leadership with daily administrative tasks
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
• Follow company safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Help create a positive and professional experience for drivers, customers, and team members

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, transportation, warehousing, customer service, or administrative support is preferred
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Basic experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Professional and respectful when working with drivers, customers, and team members

What Your Workday Looks Like

This position works closely with both the office and warehouse operation. Much of the role involves using a computer, phone, radio, and warehouse management systems while also interacting directly with drivers and operations team members.

You may spend portions of the shift sitting, standing, or walking through the facility.
