The Administrative Specialist position in the McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University, supports the administrative operations of the Vice Deans (Academic and Faculty) as well as supporting associate deans, and the Office of the Dean. Primarily, the position maintains the day-to-day operations and administrative tasks needed by the Vice Deans. The position creates a professional office environment and coordinates, oversees and/or performs a variety of administrative and program support activities on behalf of the Office of the Dean. The Administrative Specialist coordinates executive scheduling, tracks operational timelines, oversees front-desk operations, assists with hiring workflows, executes minor transactional financial requests and assists with facility operations across the School and Campus.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:
The Administrative Specialist reports directly to the Operations and Special Projects Manager with functional reporting lines to the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs and Vice Dean of Faculty. The Administrative Specialist will also support associate deans and the Office of the Dean where needed.
This position has been designated as Hybrid 4 Days. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$20.16 - $31.30
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
