WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Come and work with the Community Action Agency Team! The Montgomery County Community Action Agency (MCCAA), the locally legislated anti-poverty agency within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), is seeking high-initiative and detail-oriented systems thinking candidate to serve as the fiscal and administrative lead for the agency. The strongest candidate will demonstrate the ability to drive fiscal tasks for a $3M operational budget with close to $800,000 in state grant funds. Additionally, the ideal candidate possesses the ability to support development of fiscal and operational policies and systems for MCCAA and its programs, manage special projects, records management and data support, while serving as direct support to the Senior Administrator. This position will also provide backup fiscal and administrative support to the Office Services Coordinator staff who are on leave.
The position serves as the fiscal and administrative lead; this position does not directly supervise staff but instead provides project leadership, upholds process and procedural accountability and coordination across internal/external stakeholders within DHHS, the state Department of Housing and Community Development, and the non-profit dominated Maryland State Community Action partnership.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
Experience: Three (3) years of professional administrative experience related to program budget, fiscal, and grants management projects.
