This position is located in Community Long-Term Care (CLTC), Greenville County.
This is an in-office role and not a telecommute or remote position.


Are you the One? We are looking for an Administrative Specialist II, who will work independently under the general supervision of the Area Administrator using discretion in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, timeliness standards and in dealing with confidential matters. Provides administrative support to all CLTC Office workers including assisting other CLTC offices with essential job functions according to program needs . Maintains a working knowledge of all CLTC programs and related systems including Phoenix information system.

  • Maintains office communication systems.
  • Serves as local CLTC Office Admin.
  • Performs paraprofessional duties.
  • Prepares and processes correspondence and other documentation.
  • Promotes Collaboration and Effective Communication
  • Performs emergency preparedness duties or activities as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Examples of duties

High school diploma with clerical or paraprofessional experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Occasional travel, in and out of town, for meetings and training.
  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
  • Lifting requirements: 20 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and ability to use personal computer. Must be able to perform web-based software functions (keying data, run reports, update documents, etc.)
  • The ability to multi-task within time frames and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent data entry and organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in interpreting and applying office practices and procedures.
  • Preferred: Phoenix application and workflow experience
