The Administrative Specialist II provides administrative and operational support to the Local Technical Assistance and Training (LTAT) Branch and the Office of the Chief Public Health Nurse within the NC Division of Public Health. The role manages documentation, coordinates administrative processes, and assists with compliance activities related to Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) requirements.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and improving user experience for the Aid to County (ATC) system, coordinating procurement tasks, and maintaining nursing licensure data for branch operations. The position also serves as a primary administrative contact for local health departments and supports purchasing, inventory, and routine operational functions for the Local Community Support Section. Work is performed on-site at NC DHHS Headquarters and may be eligible for telework under agency policy.

The Local Technical Assistance & Training (LTAT) Branch supports state and local health departments by providing resources, administrative and financial consultation, training, technical assistance, and NCTracks support. LTAT is part of the Local and Community Support Section, which also includes the Office of the Chief Public Health Nurse and the Local Data Analysis and Support Branch.
