Position: Administrative Specialist - Purchasing

Supervisor: Administrative Services Manager

Necco has an opportunity for a career as an Administrative Specialist - Purchasing. This role will add the most value to the company by managing the procurement process by compiling information, preparing purchase orders, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods or materials for the organization.

The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to all departments within Necco Center (Residential, SL, CL, Operations, Clinical, & Medical)
  • Creating reports, purchase orders, and all other documents related to procurement.
  • Establish and maintain a record keeping system for purchases
  • Identify efficiencies and cost saving measures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills and abilities:

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Willing and able to learn purchasing procedures and policies
  • Proficient with Microsoft word, excel, or related software

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of 21 Years of Age
  • High School Education (Degree Preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • At least two years of clerical experience preferred
  • Excellent written, oral, and organizational skills required
  • Ability to multitask and think critically
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
  • Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e Microsoft Office programs, Databases, Dashboards)
