This position follows a hybrid work model. Onsite presence will berequiredwhen business or operational needs are best supported in person, such as collaboration, training, or work that requires access to onsite resources. Employees approved to work remotely must have a reliable and secure internet connection andmaintaina professional work environment that supports productivity. While working remotely, employees are expected tomaintainthe same level of performance, responsiveness, communication, and availability as they wouldinthe office.
What you will do!
Provide administrative support to the School Choice, Options, and Recovery Education team by helping with program implementation, team coordination, and program planning. This position is instrumental in collaboration with multiple teams to create andmaintainefficient systems for SCORE programs with an emphasis on Alternative Education and Public Charter Schools. This staff member will schedule andmaintainmeetings and communicate with school districts, ESDs, and other education partners across the state. Research, plan, and book travel for team members including processing reimbursement claims. This position will draft letters, emails, materials, and support program staff with editing and publishing guidance. This positionmaintainsprogram directories and databases.
Typical duties include:
Provide administrative support to the SCORE team with anfocus on public charter schools and alternative education programs.
Process virtual public charter school enrolment appeals
Maintain and update program databases and program guidance.
Provide direct support to schools, districts, and familiesregardingSCORE programs.

Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%.
