The incumbent serves as the primary authority for all disciplinary processes and procedures for RLCC and RLDC, as well as for regional disciplinary court operations covering Avoyelles, Rapides, Catahoula, Concordia, Evangeline, Grant, and Lafayette parishes. This position independently audits, reviews, compiles, and prepares reports and post-hearing disciplinary court documents using computer-based systems. The incumbent prepares and processes all court documentation for RLCC and RLDC and ensures the accuracy, completeness, and proper filing of all disciplinary records. Final disciplinary board results are posted in Offender Records in accordance with established policies, procedures, and timelines

Examples of duties
Three years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
A bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Supplemental information
Job Duties:
- Independently prepares memorandums to all concerned regarding court decisions. Gathers information and detailed cost analysis statements from the Medical department in a timely fashion to determine appropriate restitution cost for inmate disciplinary sanctions.
- Prepares Investigation Reports, Restitution Letters to offenders and disseminates to the RLCC Business Office and other appropriate departments for restitution charges due to disciplinary infractions.
- Gathers and collects data for monthly and annual C-05 report for Headquarters review. Prepares and addresses correspondence from offenders regarding Loss of Privileges, restitution, copies of requested legal documents, etc.

- The selected employee may be required to serve a trial detail prior to being permanently promoted or may be required to accept a probational appointment.
