Reporting to the Academic Strategy & Operations Manager, this role, as the sole supervisor of the administrative team, provides overall leadership and management functions for this group as individuals and as a team. The position assures that all work performed by the team meets the administrative quality and service delivery requirements of the school.
Provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to program administrative staff.
Liaise between leadership/management and program administrative staff to ensure program and School needs are met.
Provide organization & coordination of administrative functions within the school.
Assist in budget preparation, monitoring and analysis.
Develop & implement new process & procedures to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Develop & implement consistent training/cross training process for new and existing staff.
Provide support in general administrative tasks as required.
The successful candidate will have:
exceptional organizational skills,
attention to detail,
strong written and verbal communication skills
the ability to balance priorities and take initiative
the ability to exercise tact and discretion.
Knowledge of MS Office suite is essential.
Knowledge of computerized application systems, (i.e. PeopleSoft) would be an asset.
Qualifications
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in related field, e.g. Arts, Commerce or Business Administration.
Experience in supervisory or administrative work related to the position assignment.
Equivalencies may be considered
Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services (WES), International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) or the Comparative Education Services (CES).

This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement.
Remuneration Refer to salary range noted on this posting, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
The compensation range for this job posting is : $60,251.25 - $79,244.43
