
ChristianaCare's Administrative Fellowship is a one-year training program offered to students in their final year of, or a recent graduate, of an accredited Masters Program in Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field.
As a large health system in a small state, ChristianaCare will offer a unique, challenging and diverse learning experience for our fellow. We are engaged in many efforts to transform our health system and meet the health care challenges facing our community and nation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The selected candidate for this role will:
Actively participate in the Administrative Fellowship Program education curriculum.
Gain exposure to elements of our health care delivery system in areas such as our service lines, essential services, medical group, information technology, home health, and others.
Work collaboratively with Preceptor to identify projects, rotations and key learning opportunities.
Engage in rotations to develop a broad understanding of the integrated health system.
Utilize learned project management skills to support the completion of assigned and acquired projects to gain hands-on, project-specific experience.
Interact with key system wide leaders.
Attend senior management meetings to support the understanding of operating as a total health care system.
Participate in professional development.
Performs other related duties as required

ChristianaCare has three distinct campuses and a large physician network providing the fellow exposure to multi-disciplinary project work that will prepare them for the complexities of serving various communities.
In addition to project work, the fellow will attend senior management meetings which will support the understanding of operating as a total health care system.
They will also engage in rotations to develop a broad understanding of the integrated health system.

Annual Compensation Range $46,363.20 - $69,555.20This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
