Administrative & Events Assistant


This
position reports to the Director of Event Management. As a member of the
Event Management team, the Administrative & Events Assistant coordinates
event services with University Service Departments and outside vendors; and
acts as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries, including
managing incoming phone calls and emails. This position maintains
professional relationships within the Boston College community, including
students, faculty, and staff, as well as all external clients and
vendors. The Assistant utilizes and applies event management technology
to create accurate event records; and consistently prioritizes services to
ensure events are planned and executed in a timely manner. Assists other
employees with job functions in their absence; and is able to work weekends,
evenings, and holidays, as business levels require.



Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Certified Meeting Professional (CMP, and/or Collegiate Conference and Events
Program (CCEP) designation, preferred, but not required.

One to three years of event planning support experience, required.

Hiring Range: $28.21/hr to $35.27/hr. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience.
