JOB SUMMARY

As an Administrative Coordinator I, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and team members, with a strong focus on high-volume phone support. This is done by answering questions, processing enrollment paperwork, coordinating referrals and authorizations, and keeping information accurate and organized. You will communicate with customers by phone, email, messaging, and chat while providing timely, helpful service. You may also assist with administrative projects and other daily office needs.

JOB DUTIES

  • Provide helpful, professional service to clients and colleagues.
  • Answer inbound and outbound calls.
  • As needed will respond to emails, messages, and chats with accurate information.
  • Listen to customer concerns, resolve issues when possible, and connect customers with additional support when needed.
  • Provide daily administrative support.
  • Review, process, and update forms and documents in the appropriate systems.
  • Support accounts receivable by checking service authorizations for accuracy and working with MCO representatives to correct errors.
  • Follow applicable laws, standards and procedures.
  • Organize priorities and coordinate workflow to support team and customer needs.
  • Use computer systems and common office applications.
  • Coordinate intake, referral, and enrollment activities while maintaining accurate records.
  • Participate in required training and professional development.
  • Use bilingual communication skills to support customers where needed.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

What you'll need

  • Customer service or call center experience, including assisting customers by phone, email, messaging, or chat.
  • A combination of education and experience that has prepared you to perform the responsibilities of this role.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background screening.
  • Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position

Experience that may help you succeed

  • A high school diploma, GED, or comparable education or experience.
  • Experience providing administrative or clerical support in an office or service environment.
  • Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in certain locations.

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
