We are seeking a talented individual to join our Pension Administration team at Mercer. This role will be based in Toronto, ON. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Coordinator to support our administration team with daily operations and special projects. This role is vital in ensuring smooth workflow and effective communication within the department, while also helping to prepare and update Word and PDF documents, prepare packages, and manage multiple data points with a high level of accuracy. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to see the bigger picture across multiple tasks, and comfortable supporting a team environment where attention to detail and strong priority management are essential.

We will count on you to:

  • Compile and maintain administrative information by researching sources, collecting and interpreting data, entering data, and managing database information.
  • Develop and update filing systems and procedures to maintain department information.
  • Format and design new document templates for department use.
  • Organize department social functions to optimize team performance.
  • Provide support to the pension administration team on daily deliverables and special projects.
  • Handle higher-level internal and external inquiries to ensure high customer satisfaction and effective communication.

What you need to have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in administrative support roles or relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in data entry, database management, and Microsoft 365 applications, especially Word, with experience updating and managing PDF documents
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $48,000 to $72,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
