The Resident Funds Coordinator works closely with local operations and business office staff as part of the corporate Finance team to ensure client funds are managed properly.
Job Responsibilities:
Works in tandem with local teams to ensure individuals have timely access to spending money or other funds for personal needs.
Monitors resident funds balances to ensure individuals do not exceed asset limits, if applicable.
Ensures thorough and accurate entry of payers and authorizations in the Revenue Cycle system.
Collects and determines resident liability based on state and/or other guidelines.
Reviews outstanding Accounts Receivable balances for cost of care/client liability monthly.
Participates in meetings as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Able to work independently and stay on task
Organized, accurate & detail-oriented
Ability to manage time, make decisions, and solve problems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams and other computer-related skills
Ability to learn various software applications
