This position supports critical Child Support Enforcement State Office operations, including statewide statistical, reporting, performance analysis, budget monitoring, and other administrative functions. The position also processes medical coverage notices to ensure parents receive necessary coverage information and is responsible for logging and routing incoming mail and child support payment to the appropriate units.

Examples of duties

Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties

  • Order acquisitions, office supplies, and pay all bills for CSE State office through supplier Relationship Manager (SRM). Review for accuracy to reduce potential errors.
  • Responsible for oversite of leased copiers through Xerox. Responsible for setting up purchase orders, ordering toner, and toner waste.
  • Request and provide new employees with necessary equipment, computers, telephones, and supplies and a workstation.
  • Collect information from CSE Attorneys statewide to get them set up on the PACERS website. Enroll and add/delete them in the pacers service.
  • Processes medical support correspondence received from insurance companies.
  • Work directly with management regarding purchasing and monitoring of money budgeted from supplies and acquisitions.
  • Conducts annual inventory to ensure that all state property is tagged and accounted for in CSE state office.
  • Prepare telephone requests and complete appropriate forms to manage all phone lines in State Office for activation, deactivation, removal, and changes to equipment.


Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.
Work Schedule: Typically, work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible work schedules are available after meeting certain criteria and is dependent upon the position you are applying for. Some positions require working shifts.
