About the role

We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join our team in based at our office in Yeppoon.

The Administrative Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the effective and ethical operation of our social enterprise. By ensuring operational data, records, and documentation are accurate, timely, and accessible, this role helps create visibility across our services and enables informed decision making that supports both commercial outcomes and social impact.

Key responsibilities

  • Data accuracy, timeliness and reporting readiness. Ensuring operational data is accurate, consistent and up to date and weekly data and reporting are completed.
  • Financial and commercial administration support. Invoices and cost documentation are processed, completed and accurate for approval and sales, volumes and reuse data is being captured.
  • Compliance, records and audit readiness. Ensuring operations and compliance records are filed correctly and are audit ready to meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Coordination, communication and follow through. Issues or risks are escalated early and appropriately and administrative actions and operational priorities are tracked.
  • Health, safety and quality assurance. Promote a safe work and accountability culture while ensuring timely reporting of hazards, risks and incidents are recorded.

What we are looking for

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations support role, preferably in a multi-site or operational environment
  • Experience in preparing structured reports and dashboards to support decision-making
  • Confidence using digital systems (e.g. spreadsheets, databases, document management systems) and willingness to learn industry-specific platforms
  • A background in waste management or related field, desirable

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
