This vacancy is located in the Iberia Parish Child Welfare Office located in New Iberia, LA.
We’re looking for an Administrative Coordinator 1/2/3/4 to serve as the first point of contact at the agency in our Child Welfare Office in New Iberia, creating a welcoming environment for clients and visitors and providing administrative support that keeps our front office running smoothly.

This position provides clerical, programmatic, and administrative support functions for staff and clients of the Iberia Parish Child Welfare office.

Location: This vacancy is located in the Iberia Parish Child Welfare Office in New Iberia, Louisiana.
Career Progression: This position participates in a Career Progression Group (CPG) and may be filled as an Administrative Coordinator 1, 2, 3, or 4. The level at which the vacancy is filled will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected. This position provides the opportunity to advance within this job series.
Compensation: The actual starting salary depends on the education and experience of the selected applicant.
Appointment Type: This position may be filled as a probational appointment or a job appointment that may last up to 48 months. Job appointments may convert to probational appointments. Also, it may be filled as a detail and promoted within 12 months or by promotion of a permanent classified employee.
Louisiana HB 420 requires all prospective DCFS employees to complete and clear multiple background clearances prior to employment with this agency.
No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy.
