Job Description

Position:
Administrative Secretary/Class IV

Location:
Educational Services Center

Effective Date:
August 3, 2026

Hours:
8 hours per day 7:30am - 3:30pm, 5 days per week, 261 days

Note, there are identified days during which vacation cannot be taken in this position.

Salary:
Class IV starting at $25.72 per hour (based on experience)

Required Experience:

  • 2 years post-secondary education and/or office experience preferred.
  • Proficient technology skills including Google Suite, Excel, Infinite Campus, Skyward Finance, and other educational data systems.
  • Strong budget aptitude and experience preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will be self-driven, self-motivated, an excellent communicator, and able to ask for help when needed.
  • Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, interact with all kinds of people, enjoy working with students and families, and be able to maintain a positive attitude.
  • The ideal candidate will align with the district vision of equity and interact in culturally responsive ways with all individuals.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish speaker preferred


Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Learning Supports and the Director of Gifted & Talented Programs and Services, as well as their respective departments
  • Support targeted services programming including summer and extended day programming including supervising clerks supporting this programming
  • Support gifted and talented programming by coordinating purchasing, communications, student records, enrollment processes, program logistics, and department operations
  • Process attendance, student registration, staff hiring, online course participation etc.
  • Manage multiple budgets and create and maintain spreadsheets
  • Responsible for budgeting, ordering and managing materials
  • Manage multiple web based student data systems
  • Maintain partnerships with community organizations and other outside partners including contract updates
  • Update resources for parents, students and staff as requested
  • Send mass emails and letters to parents
  • Answer a variety of questions from parents and students while providing exemplary customer service
  • Provide back-up support for other office roles as needed
  • General office support and numerous other duties as assigned
