Administrative Clerk

LOCATION: Camrose - Alberta - Canada

DEPARTMENT: HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

Role

The Administrative Clerk (3-Month Contract) provides essential administrative and clerical support to the manufacturing and operations teams. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, smooth office operations, and effective communication across departments in an industrial manufacturing environment. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to manufacturing, operations, HSE and plant management teams.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and databases related to production, safety, inventory, purchasing, and personnel.
  • Perform data entry, prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and meeting documentation.
  • Support document control and compliance with company policies, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate and liaise with internal departments, vendors, and visitors to ensure efficient information flow.
  • Assist with scheduling, timesheets, audits, inspections, and general office operations in a manufacturing setting.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (office administration) is considered a strong asset.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with ERP or manufacturing systems is an asset.
  • Accurate data entry and strong keyboarding skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.

Schedule & Working Conditions:

  • 8-hr Days, with flexibility based on business needs.
  • This is a 3-month contract temporary position.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office setting within a manufacturing facility.
