
The Administrative Band 2 Employment Register is established to provide the Department of Health with a pool of experienced and skilled people who are able to work at short notice. Vacancies that may arise are Appointment Scheduler, Client/Customer Service Officer, Communication/Switchboard Operator and Administrative Assistant.
This Register will remain open to applicants until 30 June 2026.

Duties
Provide efficient administrative and/or reception services to a unit/department/service, utilising a range of software packages and office equipment, in accordance with established Agency policy, guidelines and procedures.
Essential Requirements
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

Please note: For some roles you may be required to undertake a Working with Children Registration.
