Under direct supervision, performs any combination of basic clerical and administrative support tasks requiring general knowledge and application of various established work methods and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Duties may include, but are not restricted to answering phones, conveying messages, opening and routing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, copying, scanning, faxing and/or filing, writing, typing, or entering information into computer system(s)
Files and maintains departmental recordsindependently
Assists the department in carrying out various programs andprocedures
May answer multiple phone lines, organizes meetings and may attend to takenotes
Interacts with internal and/or external sources via email and/ortelephone
Order’s office supplies asneeded
Follows standard procedures andguidelines
Understands how assigned duties relate to others within the team and how the team integrates with relatedteams
Impacts own team through the quality of the supportprovided
Recognizes and solves typical problems; selects solutions from establishedoptions
Communicates moderately complex information in routine situations, typically within ownteam
Works under general supervision with limited ability to modifyapproach;
Individual contributor having no supervisory responsibilities; manages ownworkload
Performs all other duties as assigned bymanagement
Education
High school diploma required; Bachelor’spreferred
Experience
Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience
