Job Duties and Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistant provides essential operational support for Office of International Programs and Compliance, including services for international students and scholars, outbound study abroad programs, campus passport operations, and related program development and implementation. This role ensures efficient administrative workflows, accurate data and records management, and culturally responsive service delivery across multiple units within International Programs and Compliance.
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma + 4 years of relevant experience or an Associate’s
Degree + 2 years of relevant experience.
Equivalent Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered. At least 1 year of administrative experience, ideally in higher education or international services.
Special Certification/Licensure:
Environment: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Physical Effort: No or very limited physical effort required.
Lifting Requirements: Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
Risk: No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
